To provide you with the best possible service, Zillam collects certain types of personal information when you use our App. This information is collected for purposes including user registration, service requests, and enhancing user experience.
When you sign up to use the Zillam App, we may collect the following information:
We collect the phone device identification ID to identify the user whom using the application as an unique user.
App uses permissions of the device:
• Gallery
• Messages (sms)
• Camera
• Notifications
• Location
We do not access or collect any other details of user from android or apple sms read automatic feature. We use the permission only to access the verification code to authenticate customer or user to our application and use the app seamlessly .
When you generate a service request through the Zillam App, we may collect:
• Service Details (Service Type, Service request details, google map location, time)
• User Preferences (to serve them better addressing their concerns)
• Payment Information (for service bookings, additional invoices based on new work or amendments)
The information collected is used for the following purposes:
To create your account and verify your identity during sign-up.
We create a customer account as well as an Agency Account.
For Agency Verification, we collect identity proof to verify them as an individual or company.
We collect Agency images, and certification details to prove the authenticity as a service provider.For customer verification, we use their sms based verification code to continue using the application
To process and respond to the service requests from users, including assigning tasks to agencies or service providers.
While creating a service request, once the customer selects the preferred service type we collect certain information. While customers give us the address details or pick up an auto address from Google Map, we use Google Map Address APIs to collect the latitude and longitude of the address chosen to service.
We send alerts, notifications, updates, and responses to the queries raised while a service booking, payments and login to the application.
We use in-app notifications and sms notifications for both user types.
We send push notifications to inform the user, regarding successful registration,assigning a service request, canceling or amending an appointment, payment progress or success notifications in compliance with the third party payment gateways integrated with ZILLAM.
To comply with legal obligations and protect the integrity of our platform.
We are committed to safeguarding your information. Zillam employs industry-standard security measures such as encryption and secure server connections like firebase to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
Zillam retains personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Once your information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share information with trusted service providers and partners for the purposes of fulfilling your service requests or improving the App, subject to confidentiality obligations.
We send Name, email to payment gateway.
Phone numbers that users or agencies provide for authentication will be sent and stored by Google to improve spam and abuse prevention across Google service, including to, but not limited to Firebase.
